A primary school in Wellingborough is looking for a committed Teaching Assistant that can provide 1:1 support for a pupil with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.

This is a full-time position until the end of the academic year. For the right Teaching Assistant there is also the possibility of a permanent contract.

Providing behaviour support is an extremely rewarding role as you will be key in providing a positive learning environment and school experience to the pupil.

You will have up to date knowledge of the UK primary curriculum, especially in KS2. The pupil you will support has very low academic abilities so it is fundamental that you can raise attainment whilst improving behaviour and attitude to learning.

A Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant also helps to improve levels of unauthorised absence and improve pupils' confidence and social skills.
