We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher of physics to join our team from September 2023. The successful candidate will be able to teach physics up to KS5 and will be committed to delivering high-quality lessons that challenge and inspire our students.

Key responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging and innovative lessons in physics to students across all key stages.
  • Encouraging students to develop their scientific thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Monitoring student progress and providing regular feedback to both students and parents/guardians.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of the physics curriculum and resources.
  • Supporting the wider school community through participation in extra-curricular activities, parents' evenings, and departmental meetings.

Essential requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status or equivalent.
  • A degree in physics or a related subject.
  • Ability to teach physics up to KS5.
  • Experience teaching in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Passion for physics and a commitment to inspiring young people.
