We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Computer Science/ICT to join our dynamic faculty. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a school that is undergoing an exciting transformation, with a brand-new block currently being constructed. This development, along with the existing buildings, will create a vibrant central courtyard at the heart of our school.
As a Teacher of Computer Science/ICT, you will have access to state-of-the-art facilities that include newly designed computer labs, well-equipped classrooms, a modern school hall/dining room, and dedicated offices for staff members. In addition, our school takes pride in its famous Koi and goldfish, and we will even have a new fish tank installed in one of the communal areas for everyone to enjoy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Computer Science/ICT lessons to students at various levels, following the curriculum guidelines.
- Teach a range of topics, including programming, computer systems, algorithms, data management, and digital literacy.
- Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages students to explore technology, develop coding skills, and think critically about the impact of digital innovations.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel valued, respected, and supported.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Computer Science/ICT curriculum.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in the field of Computer Science and ICT and incorporate them into teaching practices.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Specialization in Computer Science, ICT, or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Computer Science/ICT to students at different levels.
- Excellent knowledge of programming languages, computer systems, and digital technologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective organizational and time management abilities.
- Passion for education and a commitment to promoting students' holistic development.
