iCan Teach UK are recruiting for a very rare Primary teacher position offering FREE accommodation for overseas-trained teachers.
The school is a Community Trust; a group of Primary and Secondary schools based just outside of London (35 minute train journey)
This school have two school houses on the site which are lived in by a community of overseas-trained teachers including South African, Jamaican, Irish and Canadian-trained teachers.
Essex is one of the most popular areas for relocating teachers as there are lots of things to do and it has a good balance of towns and countryside, also its proximity to London.
The school are offering 6 months free accommodation and bills for teachers relocating, which is a fantastic and pretty unique offer!!! This year the houses will also have a community of Newly Qualified Teachers.
As well as the financial benefit with free accommodation, it is also great to not have to worry about finding somewhere to live when you relocate. Also in my experience, it is a great help to have people in the same situation in the same school and area as you.
The schools within the trust are all in the same town and are very similar in terms of the type of pupils. They are really good schools with strong SLT and experienced working with teachers who are relocating.
