Job Title: Maths Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Maths teacher to join our dynamic and successful Maths department at a leading secondary school in Brentwood, Essex. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and friendly team, committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
Responsibilities:
- To plan and deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to students of all abilities
- To assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support to ensure that all students reach their full potential
- To contribute to the development of the Maths curriculum, ensuring it is up-to-date, challenging and relevant to student's needs
- To work collaboratively with colleagues within the Maths department and across the school to share good practices and support the wider curriculum
- To take an active role in the wider school community, including supporting extracurricular activities and contributing to the school's pastoral care programme.
Requirements:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS)
- A degree in Mathematics or a related subject
- Experience in teaching Mathematics to GCSE and/or A-level standards
- A passion for Mathematics and a commitment to inspiring and motivating students
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
