**Role Overview:**
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Humanities Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and have a strong background in subjects such as History, Geography, Religious Studies, or Social Sciences. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that engage and inspire students, fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for the humanities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Humanities subjects.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enhance the student experience.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of curriculum developments and educational best practices.
**Requirements:**
- A UK recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, BEd)
- A degree in a relevant Humanities subject.
- Proven experience teaching Humanities at the secondary school level.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- The ability to inspire and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
**Desirable:**
- Experience teaching in the UK or an understanding of the UK educational system.
- Ability to teach across multiple Humanities subjects.
- Willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities and school initiatives.
