Job Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Humanities Teacher to join our dynamic educational team. As a Secondary Humanities Teacher, you will be responsible for inspiring and educating students in the field of humanities, fostering critical thinking, and encouraging a deep understanding of various social sciences, literature, and culture. Your role will be to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment, using effective teaching methods and strategies to help students develop a strong foundation in humanities and become well-rounded, socially aware individuals.
Create lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments to promote critical thinking and inquiry-based learning.
Foster an inclusive, respectful, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages active student participation.
Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students, utilizing a variety of teaching techniques, multimedia resources, and real-world examples.
Assess and evaluate students' progress through formative and summative assessments.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents on academic performance and areas for improvement.
Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles, abilities, and individual needs of students.
Provide additional support or challenges for students as necessary to help them reach their full potential.

Parent and Community Engagement:
Foster strong communication with parents and guardians to ensure they are informed about their child's progress and engaged in their education.
Participate in school events, conferences, and meetings that involve parents and the community.
Bachelor's degree in Education, Humanities, or a related field.
State teaching certification or licensure for secondary education.
Prior teaching experience in a secondary school setting is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge and passion for humanities subjects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage and motivate students through creative and innovative teaching methods.
Patience, empathy, and a commitment to student success.
