Job Title: History Teacher

Are you passionate about history and dedicated to inspiring the next generation of historians? We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable History Teacher to join our school community. The successful candidate will play a vital role in teaching and shaping the historical understanding of students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and informative history lessons in accordance with the National Curriculum and relevant exam board specifications.
- Nurture a deep appreciation for history among students and promote critical thinking skills.
- Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations, ensuring they reach their full academic potential.
- Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages active participation and respects diversity.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing timely feedback and support for improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices, resources, and teaching strategies.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences, extracurricular activities, and school events as required.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in History or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching History at the Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 levels.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and familiarity with exam board specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for history and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in students.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
