Attention overseas-trained Design Technology teachers! An exciting opportunity is available at a school in Croydon for a talented and enthusiastic teacher to join our team.

We are seeking a passionate teacher who is able to teach Design Technology at KS3 and KS4, and who is committed to delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge our students.

Key responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging and innovative lessons in Design Technology to students at KS3 and KS4.
  • Encouraging students to develop their creativity and problem-solving skills.
  • Monitoring student progress and providing regular feedback to both students and parents/guardians.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of the Design Technology curriculum and resources.
  • Supporting the wider school community through participation in extra-curricular activities, parents' evenings, and departmental meetings.

Essential requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status or equivalent.
  • A degree in Design Technology or a related subject.
  • Ability to teach Design Technology at KS3 and KS4.
  • Experience teaching in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Passion for Design Technology and a commitment to inspiring young people.
