An exciting opportunity is available at a school in Bexley for an overseas trained Biology teacher to join our team!
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher who is able to teach Biology at KS3, KS4, and KS5, and who is committed to delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge our students.
Key responsibilities:
- Delivering engaging and innovative lessons in Biology to students at KS3, KS4, and KS5.
- Encouraging students to develop a love of science and a curiosity about the natural world.
- Monitoring student progress and providing regular feedback to both students and parents/guardians.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of the Biology curriculum and resources.
- Supporting the wider school community through participation in extra-curricular activities, parents' evenings, and departmental meetings.
Essential requirements:
- Qualified teacher status or equivalent.
- A degree in Biology or a related subject.
- Ability to teach Biology at KS3, KS4, and KS5.
- Experience teaching in a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Passion for Biology and a commitment to inspiring young people.
