About Shaynie

Shaynie joined Dunbar Education in 2020, firstly working within our recruitment team, however, has made the move over to the world of compliance. Prior to joining Dunbar, Shaynie had 8 years’ experience in travel management, as well as experience as a Teaching Assistant in a SEN school for children with severe learning difficulties.

Outside of the office, Shaynie loves to go on holiday (aiming for 5 times per year), finding bargains in charity shops and going for long walks with her dog Bella.

Always with a bright smile, Shaynie is one of the most positive people we have in the office, and someone we are delighted to have in the team.

In her own words.....

What I love about my role is

ensuring the teachers are compliant before they begin their new roles.

My favourite quote is

“No one is you, and that is your superpower”

In another life, I think I would be

either in the Criminology/Psychology industry – this interests me a lot! Or working with animals.

If I was to win the lottery tomorrow, I would

book a one-way travel ticket with my family to go and see the world. I love to travel and experience different cultures!

If I wasn’t so good at my job,

I wouldn’t be clearing any candidates... but it’s OK, as that isn’t the truth, and I am good at my job.

If I were a superhero, my superpower would be

to be able to click my fingers, skip the travel part, and be where I want to be instantly (mainly on holiday!).
